  • Drug–protein and drug–receptor docking
  • Immune system modeling and host‑defense pathways
  • Small‑molecule discovery and virtual screening
  • Biodefense‑relevant computational analysis

Key Responsibilities

  • Microbial protein modeling using AlphaFold, ColabFold, Rosetta, or similar tools
  • Structure‑based drug discovery including virtual screening, docking, and scoring
  • Drug–protein docking for microbial and immune‑related targets
  • Drug–TLR interaction modeling for immunology and host‑defense applications
  • ML‑driven hit ranking and structure–activity prediction
  • ADMET prediction and computational toxicity filtering
  • Integration of multi‑endpoint datasets into composite scoring frameworks
  • Modeling immune activation, microbial sensing, host defense, and pathogen‑response pathways

Required Qualifications

Preferred: PhD in Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, Immunology, Computer Science, or related field; at least two first‑author peer‑reviewed publications; demonstrated expertise in protein–ligand docking and computational modeling.

Also considered: MS in a relevant field with a minimum of five years hands‑on experience in computational modeling, docking, or ML for biological systems; ability to independently run docking, modeling, and analysis workflows.

Safety & Scientific Scope

All research is conducted under BSL‑1 or BSL‑2 compliant facilities. No work with regulated or select‑agent pathogens is performed. We use non‑pathogenic microbial chassis for modeling and engineering. All work is exploratory and preclinical; we do not claim to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease.
